Mission & Tasks

Our mission

It is our duty to improve the security management of operating systems for transmission networks through intensive collaborations, thus allowing TSOs to plan as much as one year in advance and to react to current events in real-time. For this, we have assembled a team of experts from our member TSOs so that information and experiences can be shared on a continuous basis.

Our goal is to develop coordinated procedures and remedial actions to minimise mistakes and thus achieve a high security standard for the European power grid.

Our tasks

Our specific tasks include:

Exchange of experiences on inter-TSO remedial actions using state-of-the-art data flows
Share knowledge and expertise gleaned through system monitoring
Develop and implement new multilateral procedures and remedial actions, and thus maintain high system security levels
Develop proposals for improving the functionality of the new, shared IT platform
